Welcome to SUZ
NEWZ
Greetings
from the
ANTIQUE
WAREHOUSE
If
you are planning a trip to St. Augustine, don't
miss Antique Warehouse where you will find a
wonderful mix of English, European and American
antiques...5000 square feet of treasures!
nWWeWeIn
addition to our main warehouse, I have expanded
into the building west where you will find a
wonderful assortment of architectural items, some
of which are pictured on 2 pages of our website.
Go to 'architectual' listing to view them. Many
many great things in stock--doors especially. A
new acquistion is a cache of 1880's tin ceiling
tiles and 2 wonderful mirrors framed in the tiles.
One mirror is 4x4 ($700 in white tiles highlights
in gray) and the other is 8x4 ($2185) framed in
tin crown molding salvaged from a church built in
1889 in Pennsylvania. This mirror is almond with
gray accents and would be spectacular on a
massive wall. The picture of the church is on the
back of the mirror.
Our
pine farmhouse tables are available from 5 to 8
foot lengths--all 3 feet wide. Each is
individually built in England from beautiful pine.
(See website)
I
am most excited about getting a suite of Mission
Oak (Arts and Crafts) furniture from a St.
Augustine resident. Included is a rocker, a
lounge chair and a desk. The chairs appear to be
Harden Furniture Company and the desk may be from
Roycroft. All in pristine condition and original
finish, dating to 1910ish of heavy solid quarter
sawn oak.
The
ladies' cylindar-top writing desk (on the web) is
from the late 1700's to early 1800's, and of
French origin. The fancy ormulu galleries are of
BRONZE, inlay and inserts in the fluted channels
(can't see them) is brass. A museum restoration
master has given me the information.
Don't
forget that we convert case furniture into vanity/sinks--with
or without marble/granite tops. We are able to
water proof wooden tops with our commercial grade
finishes now on hand. As always, we can refinish
furniture on the premises.
Thanks
for shopping HERE where your money buys beautiful
furniture, not a beautiful store--
We
are open every Saturday from 11 AM until 4 PM.
